About the session:
Most leaders face high-stakes decisions isolated, relying on inner strength until burnout strikes. This workshop reveals a different approach: coaching leaders to systematically build Anchor Relationships, connections that generate the courage and clarity leaders need but can't summon alone.
You'll discover why Angela Duckworth, the world's leading grit researcher, emphasizes that "grit is forged through relationships" and why successful people "rarely rely on inner fortitude to resist temptations."
The framework identifies three distinctive relationship qualities that work as generative mechanisms: mutual investment in growth supports autonomous development, enhancement of self-efficacy maintains confidence under pressure, and connection to core virtues enables authentic decision-making when conformity pressures mount.
In this session, you’ll learn:
- What Anchor Relationships are and why these relationships create leadership capacity
- Research backing Self-Determination Theory
- Coaching insights and tools that help clients build generative relationships that propel their lives and careers forward
