Moments of Life Photography
Photography as a metaphor for life
Life is what you make it. Photography is how you take it. Photography is a selective process, through which the photographer selects location, time of day, subject etc. This presentation will use photography as a metaphor for life through twenty photos taken from the same location.
Bob Zuur was catching crabs in rock pools only a few years before he started soaking photographic paper in developer. He became a marine biologist with a focus on Antarctica and is now transitioning his passion for photography into a paying job. Biology and photography are mutually reinforcing ways to better experience the world in which we live.
